Why do we Use Alcohol Wipes to Sanitise?

70% isopropyl alcohol kills organisms by denaturing their proteins and dissolving their lipids. It is effective against most bacteria, fungi and many viruses, but is ineffective against bacterial spores.
Alcohol wipes can be effectively used as personal skin-care disinfecting wipes, or used to disinfect non-porous surfaces made from vinyl, rubber, plastic, glazed ceramic, glazed porcelain, chrome, stainless steel, aluminium, laminated surfaces and baked enamel surfaces associated with floors, walls, ceilings and work surfaces around packing areas.
